Introduction

The establishment of Quality Enhancement Cell is one of the many initiatives taken by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan to improve the quality of higher education in Pakistan. The QEC department has been established in the Private and Public Sector Universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) of Pakistan and they are working under the guidance of HEC.

The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) has been established at Indus University in 2010. It started functioning under the supervision of Muhammad Ahmed Amin, Vice Chancellor of Indus University. Moreover, we were established under Phase 1 of Private Sector ‘’W’’ Category Universities and altogether 15 QECs were established during 2009-11.
