Quality is a continuous process. To ensure the mechanism of Continuous Quality Improvement, the QEC Team had conducted a Self-Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) Visit held on June 8, 2018. Under the supervision of Mr. Moin Uddin Ali Khan, Head QEC, Institute of Business Management (IoBM), Karachi. The other members include: Yasir Amin, Registrar, Indus University, Prof. Dr. Engr. Hyder Abbas Musavi, Dean FEST, Indus University, Mr. Mustafa Amin, Director Finance, Indus University, Mr. Ayaz Ahmed Panhwar, Director Academics, Indus University, Ms. Sheema Haider, Director QEC, Indus University. The main objective was to improve the functioning of Indus University. In the exit meeting, the external reviewer was appreciated the QEC team for preparing the smooth conduct of visit..

IPE Panel Visit 2014, Indus University

The role of Higher Education Commission (HEC) has been instrumental in strengthening the education sector of Pakistan. Moreover, concrete measures taken across the nation in terms of establishment of Quality Enhancement Cells (QECs), Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) are commendable. In connection to this, a three day visit was paid by Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) Reviewers from 8th to 10th September 2014 at Indus University under the supervision of Dr. Rafiq Baloch, Director General, QAA. The other members include: Prof. Dr. Razak Mahar, Director-QEC Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, Prof. Dr Riaz Ahmad, Director-QEC, Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, Air Cdre Abdul Wahab Motla, Director, Air University, Islamabad, Dr. Azam Ali Khwaja, IPE Panel Member and Mr. Shoaib Irshad IPE Coordinator, HEC. The sole objective was to verify the University Portfolio Report (UPR), examine the infrastructure and last but not the least; hold meetings with the faculty members and students. Thus, IPE Reviewers appraised the processes and working mechanism of Indus University and constructive feedback was also offered for the sake of continuous improvement. Dr. Azam Ali Khwaja shed light on the issues and challenges faced by our education sector and also presented remedial measures to rectify the problems. Nonetheless, QEC Team played a significant role and accelerated the process in the best possible manner. In the exit meeting, the Vice Chancellor, Muhammad Ahmed Amin paid high regards to the panel members and was also appreciated for putting unprecedented efforts for the advancement of Indus University.
