Sheema Haider
Director QEC
qec@indus.edu.pkMs. Sheema Haider, Director QEC of Indus University, has over a decade of experience in the Education sector. She holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Herriot Watt University Edinburgh, United Kingdom and has been associated with Indus University since August 2013. Shed responsible for overall functioning of the Quality Enhancement Cell by developing and implementing the quality standards in various areas including the quality of teaching and learning in each subject area.
She started her career with an International and Third World largest and well-known education institution of Pakistan. H.E.J Research Institute of Chemistry, and Marine Reference Collection and Resource Centre, University of Karachi, as a Research Officer in early 1993, In 1996 she was promoted to the rank of Research Assistant, where she was principally responsible for delivering a new system for the bio tests carried out by the university of Karachi at UNESCO Coastal Aqua Cultural Workshop (1996) and at the 19th IUPACC conference on Chemistry an Natural Products (1993) . With such an illustrative and solid background in Education Sector, Sheema Haider has been instrumental in ensuring that all operations of the QEC are well managed with the highest level of integrity and transparency which are the hallmark of the University
She also takes the privilege to represent Indus University at national and international forums, Her efforts are inclined towards establishing Indus University as the most trusted brand nationwide
Arisha Maham

dd_qec@indus.edu.pkMrs. Arisha Maham serves as the Deputy Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at Indus University, bringing over 11 years of experience in higher education quality assurance, institutional development, academic quality management, and international collaboration. She is a Certified Reviewer of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) by the Sindh Higher Education Commission (SHEC). She holds an MS in Statistics & Scientific Computing from the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) and professionally specializes in Review of Institutional Performance and Enhancement (RIPE), Graduate Programme Review (GPR), Program Review of Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE), Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), accreditation processes, data analytics, and institutional rankings.
At Indus University, she leads key quality assurance initiatives, including the preparation of the Institutional Portfolio Report (IPR), Yearly Progress Review (YPR), program reviews, quality audits, accreditation support, and academic assessments. She actively conducts faculty development and capacity-building programs on PREE preparation, IPR requirements, quality assurance frameworks, and international university ranking requirements, supporting departments in achieving continuous quality improvement and academic excellence.
Mrs. Maham currently serves as a Mentor under the Mentoring Program for Universities (MPU) of the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, where she mentors university staff and contributes to institutional capacity building. She delivers professional development training on Inclusivity and Diversity and she also organized numerous workshops and seminars on quality assurance and higher education best practices. Her commitment to evidence-based decision-making, faculty development, and institutional excellence continues to strengthen Indus University's pursuit of quality education and global recognition.
Ms. Hafsa Mehmood
Manager EDC / Research Officer, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC)
edc@indus.edu.pkMs. Hafsa Mahmood holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and brings extensive
experience in quality assurance, research, industry–academia collaboration, and career
development within higher education. As a Research Officer QEC at the
Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) and Manager of the Executive Development Center
(EDC) at Indus University, she is committed to fostering academic excellence, institutional
quality, and student success.
She plays a key role in supporting accreditation and quality assurance initiatives, developing
institutional policies, coordinating research and documentation, and strengthening partnerships
with industry through strategic collaborations and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). She
also leads initiatives focused on internships, graduate placements, career fairs, professional
training, industrial visits, employer engagement, and alumni networking to enhance students'
employability and bridge the gap between academia and industry.
With a passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and stakeholder engagement, Ms. Hafsa
is dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities that empower students, support faculty
development, and contribute to the University's mission of academic excellence and sustainable
industry collaboration.
Mr. Syed Moiz Ali Zaidi

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and data organization, with a proven ability to analyze information, prepare accurate reports, and support data-driven decision-making. Adept at identifying trends, maintaining data integrity, and streamlining processes to improve operational efficiency. A quick learner with excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, seeking to leverage analytical capabilities in a Data Analyst role while contributing to business growth through actionable insights.
